Today should have been a nice easy start to the trip with the rather dull drive across Northern France, Belgium and Luxembourg we have done a couple of times before. However the Eurostar was delayed 3 hours which really spoilt things and meant we were on the back foot for the rest of the day. We didn't even get a reason for the delay, with the attendant at the terminal simply telling us "I really should know the reason because it is really bad that I cannot tell you why everything is so delayed". Whatever the issue, we doubt it'll be the last delay of the trip, and we should probably get used to queuing in traffic with the number of borders we plan to cross!
Other than that, we found the time taken to charge the car (30-60 minutes) was a good amount of time to get Lucy out the car and playing on the picnic blanket we brought with us. This made for some pleasant breaks throughout the day!
First time ever public charging today and everything went as smoothly as we could have hoped.
- Ionity at Tournai (Belgium)
- Chargy at Rue Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi (Luxembourg)
